Vancouver's City Square

Near the turn of the century, two classic Edwardian-era schools were built on this site - and they’re still here. In 1989, the heritage facades of the landmark Model and Normandy Schools were incorporated into the lofty design of our three-story galleria. Amidst a blend of contemporary and period architecture, today’s students from the resident applied design school and model agency mix with professionals from Vancouver City Hall and other sophisticated urban shoppers from across the city. With this artistic blend of modern and the historic, it’s no wonder we’re what the neighborhood is coming to.

With its outdoor tree-lined courtyard and charming mix of shops and services, City Square has all the ambience of a European village. Among our many shops and services are a Euro-style cappuccino and pastry bar, a gourmet Chinese restaurant, intriguing craft-themed vendors’ carts, a large grocery market and a very appetizing food court.

You’ll find us at Cambie and 12th Avenue just across the street from Vancouver City Hall, and within walking distance of Granville Island. One hour of free parking is available with a $3.00 minimum purchase.
