Travel brings me to downtown Vancouver about 12 times a year and each time stay at the Fairmont Waterfront if at all possible. Service is top notch, the rooms have always been clean and they work to resolve any issue or need that you may have. Like one time due to a screw up in flights I was showing up at 9 am, instead of 3 pm. Asked for a room and they made a special change so that I could be in a room way earlier than the standard check in time. I was in bed and asleep by 9:30 am !

My husband and I organized a two night stay in the Fairmont Waterfront after our Alaskan cruise. Unfortunately my husband became ill and had a six night stay in a Vancouver hospital.
The Fairmont Waterfront management and staff were absolutely incredible helping me with transport to the hospital as well as paperwork faxing and emailing. More than this their enquiries for my husbands health and their cheery greetings made my time in an unfamiliar city
under difficult circumstances a pleasant one. I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel and if at any time I was to return to Vancouver. I would not stay any where else. I think a comment by one of the front desk staff would sum up the attitude of this hotel, "we provide accommodation but we are accommodating" I would agree with this remark.

I booked a room for 2 on Aug. 25. We were given a wonderful 3rd floor patio room with French doors that opened into the garden patio and which led to the pool at the opposite end. What a great surprise! The staff were very attentive and courteous. The Convention Hall was right across the street as were the Cruise Ships. This hotel is worth the price!

Well stayed 4 nights at the Fairmont Waterfront in August 2011, We chose the Waterfront because of its location to the Cruise terminal. Really were surprised at the quality of the hotel and the rooms, If you are going on a cruise stay here before you go, as they will take your luggage to the terminal so all you have to do is cross the road. The staff made the stay really enjoyable. Great food in the hotel, but if you just want a snack there is a food court down stairs, the best of both worlds.

We have stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront on many occations. Most recently we have stayed on Gold which is a hotel within the hotel. The welcome is second to none and the staff go out of their way to make their gusts as comfortable as they can. They are always on hand to answer questions, make suggestions for dinner or help to book a trip if needed. Because we've been a few years running the staff have become friends and staying there is more like going home than staying in a hotel. Thank you all for being yourselves and sharing your lives with us.
