Review of the Georgian Court Hotel Vancouver

We found a great deal for the Georgian Court on Travel Zoo. We
really enjoyed our stay and will be keeping our eyes open for
another deal so we can enjoy some pampering again! Very
comfortable room with a king-size bed and sitting area. Nice
restaurant (Frankie's Kitchen - good food and service) on site.
Close to Stadium-Chinatown Skytrain station, Rogers Arena, GM
place, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the Playhouse, The Centre, and
shopping.
Only one small complaint...the elevator floor wasn't level with
the floor on our level. I took quite the fall when getting out
of the elevator one afternoon. I brought it up to the front desk
staff, and the fellow seemed concerned and said he'd call
maintenance to have it looked at and fixed. We were only there
for one more day, but the problem hadn't been fixed yet when we
left.

Just down the road from the Hampton Inn. My room was gloomier
than what I remembered from the Hampton Inn. Breakfast was not
included in the price, but quite good. Easy walk to some good
restaurants in Yaletown. Not sure why they are part of the small
luxury hotels chain, I'd expect more from a chain like that.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of September and this really is a
very nice place, the rooms are not all that new but 100% clean,
maintained and comfortable - great staff on reception and in the
bar.
We didn't eat in the hotel as there are just too many places in
Vancouver for good food but the hotel is in a good position and
in only a few minutes you can walk up Robson Street and you are
spoilt for choice with regard to bars, restaurants and shops.
If we do come back to Vancouver this will be the place that we
stay.

I found this hotel was a great place to stay. Easy to get to by
train on the Canada line from the airport. Shuttle bus will take
you to the shops and to Canada place where you can get tickets
to all the shows.
