Bought a night at this hotel from groupon. The service was the best I have ever
experienced. The hotel staff was great and greeted us with a beverage. The room
took our breath away. Heated bathroom floor, huge shower with great water
pressure. The ice buckets were already filled up for us by the turn down service
and there was a wide variety of DVD's to watch. The bed was so comfy and the
breakfast was amazing. The decor is modern and upbeat and really makes you
smile. The staff were so friendly and helped us with any questions we had. The
location is great. This was the perfect way to start our holiday.

Opus is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Yaletown in Vancouver. I
recently stayed there while on a short business trip. Great location as it's
right across the street from the skytrain station so I was able to quickly get
to & from the airport, ~ 20 mins door-to-door. Conveniently located amongst many
fine dining restaurants and bars. The staff was amazing and greeted me with a
beverage when I walked in the door. Service was top notch throughout my stay
including at the restaurant. The room was both contemporary AND comfortable so I
was able to get in a good rest while on a business trip. Hotel is ideal for
single or couples but not for family as there are no suites available. I will
definitely stay there again for my next business trip to Vancouver.
I have been a regular traveler to Vancouver for years and have stayed at a
number of well known hotels in the downtown area and by far my experience at
Opus is the most unique and special to date.

Bought a night at this hotel on a Groupon. Great experience, right from pulling
up at the valet stand. As we are checking in, the valet points out to the desk
person that parking is free for us since we drive a hybrid. The room was nice,
contemporary, clean with L'Occitaine toiletries. Turn down service left a Pez
dispenser on the bed. Cool. Better, I was about to trudge out to the ice
machine, when I grab the ice bucket, I notice that it's already full! It was
great to just get in, and pour a drink with ice waiting. Got back to the hotel
at about 10 pm, and went to the bar/lounge. It was packed with the nightclubbers,
and they were turning people away. they let us in with our card key, which was
nice, but the bar was a bit too packed with a few too many old men trying to be
cool. Breakfast was included with the Groupon at their restaurant. Very good
brunch, and really excellent service. Last but not least, great location.

This hotel in in the Yaletown district.
It was extremely easy to get to from disembarking from the cruise ship. . Got on
the Canada Line at the Waterfront Station . . two stops later at the Yaletown
Station. Opus was kitty corner less than one block up.
We arrived very early and they accommodated us by taking our luggage and we were
free to explore Yaletown. We roamed for about an hour before we stopped at the
Yaletown Brewery, found a comfy spot to hang out and watch our Football Team
win. Yaletown has $9.00 pizza's on Sundays.
After the game we checked into our Hotel Room.
After Dinner we stopped in at the Opus lobby for dessert and after dinner drink.
The Customer Service was awesome. Drink was just what we needed to top off the
evening. . Oh and the Jumbo Cookie and Chocolate Panna Cotta was to die for!
The only down side would be that the rooms are near busy traffic areas and I was
occasionally woken up by outdoor street sounds.

We recently stayed at the Opus while in Vancouver for a "girls weekend". You
can't beat the location - close to all the excitement of Yaletown. The first
night, the noise from outside kept me up to (partiers on a Friday night). The
next morning I asked if a quieter room would be available. I was told the hotel
was sold out, they would see what they could do. The manager called me to inform
me they had found a room (an upgrade) in a very quiet location. The new room was
great! I was every impressed with the customer service and my stay in general. |
