The location of this hotel can't be beat. Located on the west end of Vancouver, this hotel has views of English Bay and Stanley park as well as downtown Vancouver. I have stayed in this hotel five times and always look forward to going back. Recent hotel upgrades include new mattresses, dressers, and flat screen TV's. Some of the larger units have kitchens. All rooms come with a refrigerator and room service. The restaurant is excellent and the Comox Bar has drink specials some evenings.

Wonderful room and facilities, exceptionally helpful staff and perfect relaxing location. Literally steps to great neighborhood restaurants (went to Cosco twice), a block or two to the water and to Stanley park, and a 7 minute bus ride to shopping and the central downtown (this is also only a 7-8 block interesting walk.

Just off Denman near English Bay.
Slightly dated but well maintained and no complaints from me. Big, fairly comfortable rooms.
Room service is good and they don't rip you off like other hotels.
I've stayed here a number of times and I love the location. The draw is Denman and Davies. Lots of food choices, and English Bay beach/park is right there.
Perfect place for a romantic night or weekend away, highly recommended.
Room Tip: They have hot tub rooms, not Jacuzzis, actual large hot tubs in the room.

When we arrived at the hotel I asked for a lower floor they gave us a room when you looked over the balcony you saw the heating and cooling system for the hotel and by the way our room did not have central heat and air we had a small air conditioning unit in the front room of the suite that looked like a portable unit and we had to open up the sliding glass door to cool the room and the bedroom came equipped with a electric fan that you would have on a table top and plug in. with the door open it was so loud because of the hotel fans we could not hear the tv or each other the beds were marginal but the room was clean and we appreciated the kitchenette.

We stayed here for a week in 2 blocks during our holiday and on both occasions got upgraded as there were 3 of us, we also got free breakfast which I'm not sure is standard or from the upgrade but this made a difference financially. They also give everyone 30% off the food bill in their restaurant which has good standard fare if you dont fancy venturing very far.
All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and were happy to go that extra mile.
The pool is in the basement but is a decent size.
The only downsides are the whole hotel seems a bit dated although there seems to be a refurb in the pipeline and its location may be an issue as whilst very good for Stanley Park and English Bay is a bit of a walk/short bus ride to downtown.
