Spent three nights in Vancouver at the Hampton Inn. Very pleased
with choice. Clean, excellent service with large and well
maintained room. Breakfast was more than satisfactory although
very busy. Within walking distance of most of Downtown
attractions. Vancouver very easy to get around and safe. Not
cheapest city in the world but definitely worth a visit. Stanley
Park is wonderful. Would recommend.

This hotel has the most helpful front desk staff. They function
as all purpose staff and seem to do everything well. We were
especially appreciative of their assistance with booking tours
and suggesting activities. When we inquired about a certain
activity, they whipped out a coupon for discounted admission to
the activity. When asked for directions, they provided
directions keeping both our pocketbook and our physical
condition in mind - for example suggesting public transportation
as an alternative to a 20 minute walk. They found us at
breakfast to tell us that a shuttle driver couldn't take us
somewhere and offered an alternative to the shuttle. They also
offered to call a restaurant that wasn't answering their phone
throughout the day until they got through to make a reservation
for us.
Rooms were comfortable with complimentary water provided. The
typical Hampton breakfast was nicer than at many other Hamptons
and they replenished foods - unlike another Hampton that I
stayed at where you had to get down early before the fresh fruit
was gone. Location was ok. There is an on-site restaurant that
was very good - and provides room service!

The hotel is located downtown, close to dining. Parking is a bit
high at $25 per night. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Front
desk staff was very helpful. This is a very good choice in
Vancouver.

Not your typical Hampton Inn and Suites. Much more upscale and
yet so modest. Right in the heart of a vibrant and energetic
city with much flair and no pretensions. The staff at the front
desk were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and very
helpful. The suite was perfect for a family- lots of room,
separate bedrooms and full kitchen with real cutlery and
crockery. The location could'nt be better. Want to recommend
this place so badly! Oh and btw check out the fantastic hot tub-
very modern design- on the top floor with stunning views of the
city and BC Place. You can pretty much leave your car in the
garage and just walk, bus or hop the train to see the sights and
delights of this great city.
Room Tip: Ask for the suite with the sofa bed- very good
mattress btw in it as well as the real bed.

First time I've stayed here; I have booked family into this
property before and never got any complaints so I figured I'd
give it a whirl.
Turns out the hotel was actually pretty good. Free-Wifi:
big check. Can't stand hotels that nickel and dime you for wifi.
nice corner room with wall to wall windows that look out
onto...renovations on a stadium. Kind of cool looking
The location of the hotel is pretty ideal. Yaletown is a 5
minute walk; gastown is a 10 minute walk, and Robson Street
shopping is 5 minutes away, also.
The fitness facility on the top floor is quite interesting. They
have both a ping pong and foosball table which was a nice
surprise. They also have a decent hot tub. no pool, though. |
