Overall I had a great experience here during a two day conference. When
I arrived I was offered my reserved room or a lesser living room section
of a suite with a hide a bed rather than a bed. If I took such a room
they would try to make it up to me. I took the room, which was beautiful
and spacious, and was comped a bottle of wine and a movie rental. The
next night I was moved to an equally beautiful King room. I found all
the staff helpful and polite. The food at the conference was delicious
and plentiful.
We ate at the Mosaic one night. Again service was extremely friendly. I
found the food somewhat pricey; beautiful presentation but not huge
amounts.
In all I can easily recommend this hotel

Stayed here for 1 night before my flight back to London and had a nice
big room on a high floor.
Not a 'cosy' hotel and not much character and feeling of warmth from
staff. Feels like a bus station in reception.
However, rooms very nice and big. Breakfast not great. Very boring and
bland.
Very good location in the centre of Vancouver.
Stay here for business but not a holiday.

My wife and I stayed here for four days in November. We got this hotel
on Priceline.com via name your own price. We figured any four star hotel
in the downtown area would be fine. So we place our bid and were very
happily surprised when our 80$ bid was accepted and we found out we got
the Hyatt. Everything here was great. We had an early flight. We got
into Vancouver much before our check in time. After doing some sight
seeing our shoes were soaked because it was raining all day. I really
wanted to get into some dry clothes. We decided to see if the hotel
would let us check in early. With luck they were very accommodating. We
were checked in early and up we went to our room. Our room was on the
north side of the building facing the mountains and ocean on the 22nd
floor. What a great view. The room had an all glass outside wall. The
rooms were very modern, clean and large. Through out our stay the staff
were all friendly and help full especially the concierge desk. This
hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to Stanley park and right
next to the Burrard sky train station. We had a great stay at this hotel
and would be happy to stay here again next time. Thank you for the great
experience Hyatt.

While we experienced very nice staff throughout (even when dealing with
some very rude comments and behavior by travelers), there was one
concierge who stood out-Raine Pimentel. She made our stay feel welcoming
and fun. I would recommend the Regency Club upgrade because the lounge,
food, and staff are worth the cost. We loved the room with the bathroom
being set back so there was no light or noise pouring out into the
bedroom area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very nice. The
location is great and being right off the light rail system was a bonus,
but we ended up walking most places or taking a cab (inexpensive) for
longer distances. |
