Fab hotel in a really nice location right on the ocean, nice pools and
city views are really amazing. There is lots of shopping and stuff
nearby and we had a nice suite room with robes and other nice stuff in
it, soaps and everything nice. Have their Caesar salad in the dining
room, pricy but definitely worth the dollars (even if the Canadian
dollars are worth more now...was a better bargain a few years back with
better exchange).

Recently stayed here for a business trip. This has been a favorite
hotel. The room was spacious with a desk at which to work and
complimentary internet service. The bed linen was great for a good
night's sleep. The facilities are well appointed and swimming in the
outdoor heated pool late in the evening to unwind was just the ticket to
end a long day. The staff are courteous and professional but one needed
to ask for courtesies that should have been readily offered. A clearer
explanation about the parking at the outset would have been helpful. For
less than 2 full days parking the original cost was over $70! I spoke
with staff and they kindly made an adjustment for what would have been
the obvious parking option. Nonetheless the parking cost is simply
prohibitive. The only other negative was the slowness of the their
internet 'lite' access. That made working a slower than normal process.
Otherwise the accommodations, staff and amenities were very good.

Can't beat the location and view of the city from this lovely hotel.
Staff was very friendly and service excellent. I did find that the rooms
need some updating but overall really nice.
Close to shopping and all attractions. Great location for conferences
and cruiseship travel as everything is right there. I have stayed here
many times and will again.

I stay at this hotel 4 times per year and have never been disappointed.
I try to always stay on one of their executive floors, either 22 or 23
and request a view room. Although often cloudy and damp, the views are
still terrific, especially watching the seaplanes land and take off.
They even provide binoculars in each room for better viewing. During the
summer months this hotel is often the home for Alaska cruise passengers,
so the lobby can sometimes be a bit hectic.
The check in for these floors is at the concierge desk on the 23rd
floor, a nice touch that gets you away from any lobby congestion. All of
the concierge staff members are extremely helpful and somehow seem to
know your needs without asking. The included continental breakfast is
fine, especially when combined with the views of the harbor.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel -- steps to Gastown - shopping - Robson
Street Meat :-)....beds were super comfy - room was immaculate. Shower
was the best I have ever had - large modern bathroom.....had trouble
finding the hair dryer because it was in it's own little bag .... haha
Lobby bar was fun fun fun --- great entertainment and snacks.
Excellent option for cruisers -- pier is steps away.
Fantastic view of the bay and the Canada Place cruise terminal. |
