I've stayed for a night at the Sheraton Wall Centre. The hotel itself, like most
Sheratons nowadays has been renovated or is pretty new and well kept. Parking a
car at the hotel, though, cost $45, about 30% of the cost of my room and about
double what other parking complexes charge for a 24h parking. The bed was very
comfortable and the room was semi-soundproof - a little noise did get in from
the street, but not enough to bother you at night. I would be happy to return,
but next time I'll find a cheaper garage to park my car overnight.

The staff was very helpful here and the continental breakfast was wonderful. My
complaints: no newspaper, no express checkout, the fan in the room kept going on
and off and it was SO LOUD that it kept waking me up all night, no sound
insulation. I could hear whenever anybody opened or closed their doors, and then
there were sirens outside for a lot of the night (not hotels fault of course
:-))The room was very small but I guess that is normal. Overall it was okay but
nothing spectacular.

Location....Location....Location.. This is in the heart of the city on the main
drag Burrard St. Close to shops and attractions. If you can't afford the new 5
star locations this will be ok. Only issue i had was at night i hear strange
clicking noises in the room. Switched rooms next day and it was fine. Nothing
special here. Having stayed at two other hotels in the city this is my least
favorite by far.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Sheraton Wall Centre. Everyone from the
Bellman to the housekeeping staff was pleasant and professional.
The location is Fantastic, walking distance to everything downtown and to the
Granville Island Ferry.

My boyfriend and I stayed here as part of a conference I was attending. We had
requested the north tower and hoped to get a room in the upper floors, but we we
given a seventh floor room so the view wasn't great. The room was a good size
and very well decorated. The washroom was nice and the bed was huge!!! Coffee
was replenished everyday and we had a safe in the room. We didn't eat at the
hotel, but there are a million places to eat nearby. Overall, a great hotel and
experience for 6 nights. |
