21 December 2011 WE can always count on Sutton Place providing us with excellent service, from check in to check out - its all good Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver Guest Review 21 December 2011 This was a planned trip recommended by local Vancouver friends.....It was a hotel that exuded Christmas everywhere, Check in was easy, Gerards was very pricey, the food is ok, drinks were very expensive, However our family experience was awesome, great place to invite friends and business partners. Kitchen equipment was not on the same level as we have used to in European ski cottages. It was very simple and basic stuff like scissors and proper knife was missing. Standard internet connection was lousy, unable to do work online meetings with it. Parking was so expensive that we parked across the street. However anything else was great, so I'd most likely stay there again! From the moment the valet greeted us to the front desk staff's friendliness and professional manner, I knew we were in good hands. Christmas is alive and well at Sutton Place with a gorgeous lobby display. The quality and cleanliness of the suite were superb. The bedding was of superior quality. Our view was fantastic, facing Burrard Street. We dined in the hotel's restaurant. The flavours and quality were unequalled. From check-in to check out, our experience was excellent. We left feeling pampered and happy. Would recommend to the sophisticated traveller, whether for business or pleasure. Room Tip: The grand and executive suites are very nice. Easily worth the upgrade.
