From the minute we arrived at this hotel the service was flawless. A
parking valet offered to take our car but we said we'd rather save money
and self-park, and he suggested on- street parking, which saved us the
cost of even self-parking! We had booked two rooms (a family of 5) and
received a call a few days prior confirming that- and when we arrived
they had given us a 3 room suite with an amazing view - an upgrade we
hadn't even requested! We asked if our reservation included breakfast
and while the answer was no, the front desk clerk offered us two free
breakfasts. We noticed the breakfast buffet was $28pp but opted for it
anyway and it was incredible - event without the 2 free it would've been
well worth it - plus we were travelling with two teenaged children and
an 8-year old - and without our even asking our wonderful waitress
billed us for 3 child's meals - $11 vs. the adult $28. Clearly this
hotel emphasizes service above all - we were so impressed. Highly
recommend it!

We were attending a conference at this hotel that started at 11:00 AM on
a Saturday. Our room was not ready to check into until 4:30 PM and our
luggage was not delivered until 5:00 PM. There was a dinner associated
with the conference at 6:00 - we felt that our room and luggage should
have been available to us sooner, especially in a hotel of this caliber.

Horton at the concierge desk was exceptional! He was so helpful in
booking our tours and went above and beyond to help us in the following
situation: I had left an important baby bag on the day of our departure
and did not realize it till I arrived home. I called to the Westin and
Horton was able to locate the bag for me, which was actually in the taxi
we took to the airport and had it shipped directly to me.
The hotel and staff are amazing and we will definitely be back. Thank
you, Horton!

The Bayshore never disappoints! Their beds are consistently amazing, the
bay breezes lovely, the views incomparable, & the spa completely
delightful. Concierge staff are outstanding & truly understand the art
of customer service excellence ... they very cheerfully book wonderful
restaurants & shows despite constant bombardment from tourists. My only
complaint for this hotel is the price of brunch, which does not include
coffee (coffee was, I thought, ridiculously expensive).
The main reason we return time & time again, however, is for our dog ...
for a city, Vancouver is quite dog friendly & the Bayshore has the
perfect location: Stanley Park is just down the walking trail,
everything else is accessible by foot, we take the dog on the False
Creek taxi boats, the hotel staff treat him like royalty & he gets his
very own Heavenly Bed!!
