Hotel Review of the Coast Surrey Guildford Hotel

you need a car in this hotel if you want to see Vancouver, but it was great
value for money. Quiet location, great big rooms, nice small restaurant. not
great front desk staff, but we didn't really interact with them much.
they gym is awful, but it is in a nice area so i went for a run.
the pool/hot tub is lovely at night time and we were on the ground floor, so
were able to use it while our son slept in the room right next door.Hotel Review of the Coast Surrey Guildford Hotel

We Reached the Hotel at 11:30 PM after booking the hotel through Hotels.com and
having the mail confirming the same. When we went there we saw two guests
already standing there who said they were standing at the front desk for 20 mins
with no one to attend. She finally searched for manager's number and reached him
in mobile no. He said he would make some calls. then came a person called Holly.
She did not apologize for the delay and checked in those people. When it came to
our checkin. she said she could see only one reservation and she can't do
anything. I called hotels.com and confirmed that they had 3 reservations and she
was very reluctant to speak to him. When we tried to give our first names to
look up, she wouldn't even look them. Then I called Shean the manager and
explained our situation. He was very courteous and he offered to look for some
room in nearby hotels and he did it too. Thanks to him we settled in Langley
Ramada which was very comfortable..

this hotel would suit a family or group who's on a budget. your basics are
covered, it is clean and actually more spacious than what i expected. it is also
pretty close to the border and to downtown Vancouver with free parking
nonetheless. no reason to stay in downtown where you have to fight for parking
and have to pay for it too. over all, i would recommend it to others and i
actually won't mind staying there again if i ever go visit Vancouver again.

My husband and I decided to take our 3 children on a last minute day trip to
Vancouver (we are from Seattle). After a long wait at the border, we spent most
of the day sight seeing and didn't want to leave by the end of the day. We loved
what we saw and decided to stay overnight. Trying to book a last minute hotel
was quite an ordeal and took about 4 total hours. After all the chaos, we
managed to get to the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with
lots of parking. The actually had secured underground parking. The hotel is
clean, the room are spacious, the beds are comfy and they also have free wi-fi.
One thing I did notice is that noise levels were pretty high. We stayed on the
first floor and I heard people dinning at the restaurant and people checking in.
Unfortunately the hotel charged our credit card twice the amount I booked it for
and it took a serious phone call to the mananger and 5 days to return the funds.
I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. The hotel is only 20
minutes from all the local attractions and is just minutes away from the
Skytrain.

generally speaking, a good hotel and price is reasonable
but there were two problems we had. first, the window of the room we had is
direct to west, it is hot in the afternoon but air conditioning works good.
second, room services could not be done early. One day we got back to the hotel
in 5PM, but room service had not be done yet. others are good.

Our room was clean and quiet. Location was great (not in Vancouver but our event
was in the suburb of Surrey.) Staff was excellent too. We will definitely stay
here again if we are going to BC. Easy access to hotel and parking. This hotel
is good value for money

This hotel was dirty. Hotel staff had told us that there had been a big wedding
the weekend previous to us arriving - thus the dirty room with tons of long
black hair and sparkles everywhere. Not only that - the guck left in the corners
of the bathroom was disgusting. It really looked like they had never-ever
cleaned the bathroom.
The hotel front desk staff tried to make up for the dirty suite by providing us
with a free breakfast - sorry, didn't make things any better. Even the
housekeeping supervisor came to the room, agreed it was dirty and then asked
what WE wanted to do... WE wanted our money back!! and checked out.

This was a very quirt area with an awesome hotel staff
Very nice room However, the other guests were very noisy in the hallway. Also,
the rug was quite dirty under the chair. I enjoyed the room layout and the
breakfast at the in-hotel restaurant.
