The WCBBIA, founded in 1993, is a non-profit Association of more than 150
independent B&B innkeepers. Our mandate includes a Quality Assurance Inspection
Program of hosts' facilities with regards to guests' safety and security,
cleanliness, housekeeping, food preparation areas, and service and hospitaliy.
The Association is involved in marketing, networking and representation of the
B&B industry to governments, and is recognized by Accommodation Services at
Tourism BC as the professional Association of innkeepers.
The Association's COTA representative is Graham Laxton, Greystone B&B in
Vancouver, and its President is Ingrid Vermegen, Cobble House B&B in Cobble
Hill.
