The Northern British Columbia Tourism Association is one of B.C.'s six regional
destination marketing organizations. We are an industry-led, not-for-profit
association governed by a board of directors elected annually by our membership.
Our mandate is to encourage a greater number of tourist visits, as well as
tourism revenues, to Northern B.C. through the development and implementation of
cost-effective marketing programs, in partnership with our members and the
tourism industry. Our annual marketing program includes (but is not limited to)
lure brochures, attendance at consumer and trade shows, media relations, trade
relations and sector advertising.
Our membership is broad based, consisting of small, often seasonal tourism
operators, the accommodation and hospitality sector, visitor services, adventure
and outdoor recreation operators.
