Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) is a Destination Marketing
Organization (DMO) registered as a not-for-profit society with the Province of
British Columbia Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations.
TOTA has an annual contract with Tourism British Columbia (TBC) to market the
region of British Columbia known as “Thompson Okanagan”. There are eight TOTA
employees. The association membership is made up of approximately 350 tourism
related businesses. The members elect a Board of Directors whose mandate is to
provide direction to the management.
Mission Statement:
“TOTA exists to increase members’ revenue and sustainability through cooperative
marketing, ongoing education, and government liaison to ensure Life is good.”
