Tourism Richmond is a non-profit, membership driven organization with the
mandate to position and market Richmond as a visitor destination. Currently
there are over 200 members associated with Tourism Richmond, which make up a
voting Board of 25 Directors and various sub committees. Tourism Richmond offers
the visitor, member and industry associate a number of services and benefits,
most with limited or no cost associated. Tourism Richmond is in the business of:
Developing and implementing marketing initiatives with members, including
cooperative programs and sponsorship.
Strengthening and sustaining cooperative and equitable marketing relationships
with Destination Marketing Organizations and tourism industry stakeholders.
Providing strategic marketing leadership in the planning and development of the
Richmond Trade and Exhibition Centre.
Providing information services to tourists.
