Hotel Review of the Delta Whistler Village Suites

Excellent hotel. The service from the staff was amazing! Always willing to
assist. Provided free water through out the stay including on check out for our
journey. The rooms was well appointed and of a good size. Fantastic to have a
full laundry in the room - the only thing the room lacked was an in room safe.
One of the best hotels we found in Canada. Great location right in the Whistler
Village mall.
We will definitely go back there at some point.

Lets start with the rooms - lousy tiny rooms, and yet they are suites. I have
been in bigger rooms than all the space combined in this suite. And the suite
has a kitchen, a dining area and a living area plus the bathroom and bedroom;
and it is still much smaller than many standard rooms I have been in. The staff
is probably one of the lousiest staffs I have ever had the misfortune to deal
with. On our stay we were first placed across from the elevators - on a frosh
weekend when thousands of drunken students were in the village. Also, our
reservation was for a suite with a queen bed; instead they place us in a room
with two single beds. We had them move us to a room with a proper bed, and away
from the elevators. The staff is rude, uniformed and overall I would not send a
dog to the place.

I liked this hotel very much, very efficient service, good facilities.
Room booked was a one bedroom suite which had two single beds in the bedroom and
a double sofa bed in the lounge. Bathroom/toilet had a door between them, with
one leading in to bedroom, and toilet leading into lounge. Washer/Dryer was a
god send, and the room also had a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge
freezer, dishwasher etc.
This is a great hotel, in a pretty good location it the stunning resort of
Whistler.
Cant really go wrong with this hotel, Underground parking is available at a
charge.
Down side is there is no free WIFI which is a shame as we have stayed in other
hotels on our trip that provided this service.

Good Day
Thank you very much for taking the time review the Delta Whistler Village Suites. Your comments let us know how we are doing and we treat all
reviews seriously.
Its very nice to hear that our rooms at the hotel suited your needs very well,
in particular, the washer and dryer being a god send for you! I am also
delighted to hear that our service was efficient.
We do charge $9.99 for 24 hours of wifi access. We did this is as not all of our
travellers need internet access so we chose not to include this cost in the room
cost. There are packages that guests can book in order have parking and internet
included, it is called "Delta Pays the Way".
Again, we truly thank you for staying with us this summer and trust that you
will return in the future.

We stayed here the last weekend Whistler is really happening in the summer and
had a great stay. The hotel is very nice and the staff is AMAZING. I love that
this hotel is right next to the Elephant & Castle and its also right on the
Village stroll so it's near everything. The hotel was pretty cheap for Summer -
$159/night. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs as well. The ONLY downfall to this
hotel is that it is RIGHT in the village which means it can be noisy at night.
Bars let out around 1AM which means all the drunk folks are out in the street
about that time. I recommend massages at the Pan Pacific Spa.

Clean ,good value (for Whistler!) helpful pleasant staff. We had a family suite
with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen which was v well stocked Also had washing machine
v useful when you travel with kids ! Great position for eating out in evening
and getting about to activities (in summer) during day. We went in summer so as
a ski resort hotel in winter wouldn't know how good it would be ,but if our saty
was anything to go by it would be excellent. We would go again

lots of knowledgeable and friendly staff.
suite was fine - though not huge - once we re arranged the furniture it was
better!
Kitchen was not of very high standard, and will shortly show its age
balcony overlooking quiet side street was nice as it was hot
sofa bed in living area could do with a new mattress - clean but just
uncomfortable.
parking an expensive surprise - but efficient
Pool and jacuzzi a bonus but not a reason to stay. This is not the most
luxurious place but is a very good clean comfortable base for an active time in
Whistler
Very good location.

We noted a quirk or two, but none of the complaints previous reviewers reported.
Then, again, we were only there one night, so perhaps we should come back for a
longer stay (and we will). With our NY cousins, we needed two full baths and the
two-bedroom suite served our purposes nicely and was less expensive than booking
separate rooms. Interestingly, the two bedroom suite had two separate doors off
of a small entry area, with keys needed for the entry and both doors. One side
of the suite was a one bedroom set-up, with the living room, kitchen and laundry
areas all in the other part of the suite. We flipped a coin and my wife and I
got the bigger portion.
