Absolutely great location, just a couple steps to the lifts. Nice little kitchen
with all you need, bathroom was clean and everything worked more than well.
Cabinet drier for wet clothes was only thing we missed. We have travelled a lot,
and can say that many European hotels in Alps are really much older style
furnished. We can warmly recommend thist renovated hotel.

We chose this hotel on the basis that it was the cheapest deal for a decent
central hotel in Whistler when we booked and we decided that we didn't need
extra facilities such as a pool or sauna (the hotel has no common areas to speak
of and a small reception area). I can't talk about value as with the current £
exchange rate everything in Whistler seems very expensive! We were broadly happy
with our choice primarily due to the price but felt we might have been better
off at the Adara which was our other option. We were in a queen loft suite on
the fourth floor and found the room fine if quite dark decor and oddly shaped -
with limited space to put things - which gave it a poky feeling. There is a fire
but you have to pay $5 for a log downstairs to use it. The AC/heater is quite
noisy but we switched it off at night. Our main gripe was with the sleeping
arrangements. The bed was on a mezzanine level under the slanting roof. It makes
the room a bit different from the standard, but we found that on one side of the
bed you can't sit up without banging your head on the beam and on the other you
have to clamber over the bed to go downstairs. The pillows were absolutely
terrible - these were thick hard foam which were uncomfortable enough for us to
ditch them altogether - which didn't make for the most comfortable nights'
sleep. The bed also rolled/had a dip in the middle. Pros were the bathroom
which, while compact, was modern and clean with a sizeable and powerful walk-in
shower. Also the location right on the main stroll opposite the Hilton and about
a minute from the ski lifts (although most of the main hotels seem to be within
1-2m range of the lifts). We weren't disturbed by any noise at night although
our room was on the stroll side. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again
unless there was a really good deal available.

We stayed 5 nights and I was expecting a boutique-like little hotel with small
rooms. There aren't any real boutique touches and I felt like the photos I had
looked at online were overly flattering given the reality. Rooms are small but
not unreasonable except for the bathroom where you had to close the door if you
wanted to access the countertop. Location was ideal for getting to the lifts but
it was noisy on the stroll til well after midnight all nights. I had looked
forward to the woodburning fireplace but there's no wood - just $5 firelogs so
it's not so easy to have a little 1 hour fire and no crackling and nice wood
smells. Nothing sumptuous about the bathrobes, nothing contemporary about the
kitchenette, don't remember any wood in the bathroom although the countertop is
marble. We also had trouble on the financial end - our credit card was
overbilled by hundreds of dollars by accident which they did correct when we
pointed it out. We also reserved in advance so when a special deal later came up
they didn't honour the new price - they did upgrade our room and give us a
discount but it was nowhere close to the deal we would have got if we booked
last minute.

We usually stay at larger hotels, so this was a really nice change. Staff
treated us extremely well and location to shops and restaurants was terrific.
Older hotel but updated very nicely, all kitchen amenities included, comfy beds.
We will definitely stay again. Nights a bit noisy when bars close.

Nice Alpine feel to the hotel, convenient for everything. Helpful young English
man on desk. Good kitchenette. Useful washing machine/dryer on second floor.
Downside is bed sloped towards middle. But very clean, also nice-smelling
goodies in bathroom. Lots of spare blankets. Would go there again.

Right in the heart of the village so easy walk to the lifts, shops and pubs.
Room had a loft for the bedroom which maximized the small space of the living
room/kitchen. Nice to have the stove and dishes for cooking in a couple of
times. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. There is a price for the location
as folks leaving the local pubs are pretty loud. Make sure to turn on the fan
for a little white noise if you turn in early. All in all a pretty good value.
Oh and clean. That's always a plus.

My hubby and I went to Whistler for my birthday in November 2010. We got a great
deal on the studio and it was exceptional. The room was clean and beautifully
finished. We had a full kitchen but used only for coffee & tea. The small fridge
was perfect for our needs. The staff were great and very helpful (had to borrow
an umbrella). Despite the rain, it was a great trip, very relaxing and we really
enjoyed exploring the Village and surrounding areas. The mountains were
incredible!

This hotel was renovated completely during June to December 2009. We were in a
queen bed room with a fully equipped kitchenette with everything new, and the
furnishings were up-to-date. A really cute little room! It is located in the
heart of Whistler Village, very convenient to stroll around the area. We made
our breakfast and lunch and then went to Spaghetti Factory right across the
street, for dinner. The restaurant in the hotel, Umberto's, was not yet open for
the winter season. Another couple (relatives) who were travelling with us had a
similar room right next door to us so it was convenient for visiting.
Underground park ing is available for $15.00 per night, and there is an
elevator. We really enjoyed our stay here, and the staff were great.
